Thomas OLDFIELD

He was tried at Manchester, Lancashire on 20 July 1786 for stealing three pieces of material with a value if 1 shilling. He was sentenced to transportation for 7 years and left England on the Friendship aged about 24 at that time (May 1787). His occupation was listed as labourer or woollen dresser.He left NSW in 1793.

Notes: Partner in the original crime was sister Isabella Oldfield. Night watch member.
